Embrace Curiosity: My Journey with Authority Magazine

I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by Authority Magazine for their “Women In Wellness” series.

In the interview, I shared my thoughts on five lifestyle tweaks to support better well-being. You can read the full interview here.

My Journey

Growing up in South Africa with my twin sister and supportive parents laid the foundation for my adventurous spirit. My travels across continents—from Ireland to Los Angeles, Spain to Greece—have enriched my life and shaped my mission. As the founder of GoddessCode, I strive to create a sanctuary for women to reconnect with their inner goddess and live their dreams.

Inspiration and Lessons

My parents’ unwavering support and a cherished poem from my mother have been constant sources of inspiration. Pole dancing, in particular, has played a transformative role in my life. It has taught me to embrace my femininity and let go of body shame. Through this art form, I have come to appreciate my body for its strength, grace, and incredible capabilities. This journey of self-acceptance and empowerment has not only enhanced my own well-being but also fueled my passion to help other women experience the same liberation.

The Power of Travel

Travel has been a catalyst for personal growth, offering new perspectives and experiences.

Five key habits for growth through travel include:

  1. Embrace curiosity
  2. Embrace uncertainty
  3. Practice mindfulness
  4. Seek meaningful connections
  5. Reflect and journal

Exciting Projects

Our upcoming women’s retreat from 17th – 22nd September 2024 in Rhodes, Greece, is an exciting project where we aim to empower women through self-love workshops, coaching sessions, and beginner pole dance classes. This retreat reflects my passion for helping women reclaim their power and live authentically.
